- Prepare 5 of Eggs.
- It's 1 tsp of salt.
- You need 3 tsp of Olive oil.
- It's 2 lb of Rice.
- It's 5 oz of green peas.
- It's 2 tsp of Royco.
- It's 2 tsp of paprika.
- You need 4 slice of Bacon.
- It's 10 each of Sweet green peppers.
Kenyan Fried Rice instructions
- In a bowl, beat the eggs.
- chop green peas to bite size...do the same with bacon and sweet peppers.
- add green peppers, bacon and green peas with the beaten eggs and mix thoroughly.
- in a rice cooker, add Royco, paprika, rice and right amount of water and mix well.
- cook the rice till well done.
- in a wok, add oil warm it up and add your beaten egg mixture.
- scramble the mixture.
- add cooked rice in the wok bit by bit while mixing.
- cook all for about 10 minutes and serve while hot.
