- You need 2 cups of cooked rice.
- Prepare 15 of small roasted seaweed (nori) sheets, cut into small pieces.
- You need 2 tbsp of oil.
- Prepare 1 inch of " cinnamon stick.
- You need 2-3 of green cardamoms.
- It's 4-5 of cloves.
- It's 1 of dry red chilli, broken.
- It's 1/2 tsp. of cumin seeds.
- You need 1 of onion, chopped.
- You need 2-3 of garlic cloves, chopped.
- It's 1 inch of ginger, chopped.
- Prepare 1-2 of green chilies, chopped.
- You need 1/2 cup of chopped mixed veggies.
- It's 3-4 tbsp of peri peri sauce.
- You need to taste of salt.
- You need 1/2 tsp of roasted cumin powder.
- You need 1/2 tsp of garam masala powder.
- It's 1/2 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1-2 tbsp of fried onions.
- Prepare 1-2 tbsp of coriander leaves, chopped.
Seaweed Fried Rice step by step
- Take 15 small roasted seaweed (nori) sheets and cut them into small pieces..
- Heat oil in a pan & temper with cumin seeds, dry red chilli, cinnamon, cloves and cardamom. Saute for a few seconds..
- Add chopped onion, ginger, garlic & green chilies. Stir fry till light brown..
- Now add the mixed veggies and saute for 2-3 minutes..
- Add the peri peri sauce,.
- Followed by the cooked rice & all the dry spices. Mix everything well and saute for a couple of minutes..
- When done, add the coriander leaves, seaweed and fried onion.Mix everything well..
